2025 Practice Schedule
**ALL practices take place at Cook Creek pool UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. Please download the free SwimTopia app. This will be the quickest way to receive notification of weather related practice cancellations**
Week of May 12th - New Swimmers ONLY AT LONE TREE REC CENTER (due to facility repairs happening at Cook Creek Pool)
- Tuesday May 13th & Wednesday May 14th
- 6 & under - 5:00-5:30pm
- 7/8 - 5:30-6:00pm
- 9+ - 6:00-6:30pm
Week of May 19th - May 23rd EVENING ONLY practices, for ALL Swimmers
- 6 & under - GREEN 5:00-5:30pm, BLUE 5:30-6:00pm (see note 1 below)
- 7-8 and 13 & over - 5:00-6:00pm
- 9-10 year olds & 11-12 year olds - 6:00-7:00pm
Week of May 26th - May 30th (See times below for regular morning and evening practice times by age group. Note, we have added Tuesday/Thursday evening practices for this week only.)
Monday - No practice (Memorial Day)
Tuesday - Morning Practices (7-9:30am) & Evening Practices (5:15-7:15pm)
Wednesday - Morning Practices (7-9:30am) & Mock Meet (5-7pm)
Thursday - Morning Practices (7-9:30am) & Evening Practices (5:15-7:15pm)
Friday - Morning Practices ONLY (7-9:30am)
REGULAR PRACTICE SCHEDULE
MORNING PRACTICE (Monday through Friday mornings, starting May 27th through July TBA (see note 2):
- 11 & over - 7:00-8:30am
- 7-10 + 11 & up beginners - 8:30-9:30am
- 6 & under - GREEN: 8:30-9:00am, BLUE: 9:00-9:30am (see note 1 below)
EVENING PRACTICE SCHEDULE (Monday and Wednesday evenings, starting June 3rd: NEW FOR 2025: pushed back 15 min to allow for lane line setup)
- 6 & under - GREEN 5:15-5:45pm, BLUE 5:45-6:15pm (see note 1 below)
- 7-8 and 13 & over - 5:15-6:15pm
- 9-10 year olds & 11-12 year olds - 6:15-7:15pm
Real time updates: All communication regarding cancellation of practice will be posted on the Wahoos website, sent via SwimTopia App (free version) and sent via email.
(1) 6&U swimmers will be split into two groups based on ability. Each group will swim for 30 minutes.
(2) Last practice of the season will depend on swimmer's qualifications for Championships and/or All Stars. Last practice for swimmers not swimming in All-Stars will be July 11th. Last practice for All-Star swimmers will be July 18th.
